Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2024, posting a year-over-year decline in revenue from $481.5 million in Q1 2023 to $417.3 million. Gross margin during the quarter was 70.5%, compared to 72.3% in the same quarter last year.
Last month, Beautycounter Founder Gregg Renfrew announced that she was buying her company back from private equity firm Carlyle Group. Renfrew announced that the new company is now expected to launch in late 2024.
The Vorwerk Group announced a 4.4% year-over-year increase in its adjusted annual revenue for 2023, posting total revenue of $3.4 billion. Operating results for the year grew to $313 million, a 50.1% increase over 2022.
Nature’s Sunshine Products, Inc. announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2024, posting a 2% increase in net sales over the prior year’s quarter to reach $111 million. Adjusted EBITDA was also up slightly to $9.2 million, up from $9.1 million in Q1 2023.
The Beachbody Company, Inc. (BODi) reported its first quarter 2024 financial results, posting revenue of $120 million, down from $144.9 million in Q1 2023 but beating the midpoint of its revenue guidance.
Mary Kay Inc. hosted its official grand opening in Denmark, welcoming 750 guests as the company launched its products and opportunity into the country. With this strategic move, Mary Kay products will now be available in all Scandinavian and Nordic markets through a partnership with Lesley Cosmetics, the brand’s authorized distributor in Scandinavia.
