Nerium Announces Christi Clinger as New COO
Nerium International, the anti-aging skincare and supplement company based in Addison, Texas, has hired Christi Clinger as the company’s new chief operating officer.
Clinger has 25 years of leadership experience with Fortune 500 companies, including PepsiCo, 7-Eleven, Brinks and Target, as well as with direct sales companies. Her professional specialties include supply chain leadership, revenue generation, strategic innovation, profit-and-loss operations management, pricing, supply chain design, product development, financial modeling and leadership development. She will manage and oversee U.S. and global operations at Nerium.
“We are excited about Christi’s role as chief operating officer with our dynamic direct selling company,” said Nerium President Deborah K. Heisz. “Christi will provide fresh insights and solid management expertise to fine-tune our organization and propel Nerium to the next level of success.”
Nerium, which launched in August 2011, is currently operating in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.
4Life Research Names New heads of Peru, Ecuador
4Life Research, the health-and-wellness brand headquartered in Sandy, Utah, has appointed two general managers to its team. Paul Paez will be the new general manager of 4Life Ecuador. Jorge Chacon, who has served as the 4Life Ecuador general manager since 2011, will serve as the general manager of 4Life Peru.
Paez has been with 4Life Ecuador for more than seven years. He started in distributor services, spent several years as the sales supervisor, and most recently served as the marketing and commercial manager.
“Paul has been Jorge’s right-hand man. He has wonderful relationships with our distributors in Ecuador, and he is respected by everyone,” said Vice President of International Rich Decker.
Paez will be responsible for generating growth in the Ecuador market by supporting distributors through team building and a methodical commitment to field-tested practices.
Chacon began at 4Life in 2009 as the finance manager of 4Life Costa Rica. He was promoted to 4Life Ecuador general manager, where he served for more than six years.
Manny Castillo, who has served as the 4Life Peru general manager since 2014, will return to 4Life global headquarters.
Finance Executive Alexander Amezquita Joins Herbalife
Alexander Amezquita has joined Los Angeles-based Herbalife Nutrition as senior vice president, finance and strategic planning, with global responsibility for corporate strategy, financial planning, and analysis and pricing.
Amezquita was most recently senior vice president at Moelis & Co., a global investment bank, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, capital markets strategy and investor relations. During his five-year tenure at Moelis & Company, Amezquita worked extensively as a financial adviser with Herbalife on key strategic and financial initiatives.
“We are excited to add another accomplished leader with tremendous experience in helping companies create value,” said Herbalife Chief Financial Officer John DeSimone. “Alex will be instrumental in enhancing and implementing our strategic growth initiatives and driving innovation.”

Rodan + Fields Appoints Elisabeth Charles As Marketing Chief
Rodan + Fields, the San Francisco-based skincare company founded by Drs. Katie Rodan and Kathy Fields, has appointed Elisabeth Charles as chief marketing officer.
Charles brings more than 25 years of experience managing international, high-growth companies and driving marketing campaigns for large brands. Most recently, she was the senior vice president, general manager of Old Navy Outlet, following CMO roles at Old Navy and Athleta. Previously, she also held senior marketing roles at Victoria’s Secret and Taco Bell.

Meredith Berkich Joins Immunotec as President of U.S. Business
Meredith Berkich, a 25-year veteran of direct selling, has joined the leadership team of Immunotec Inc., a Canadian seller of nutrition, skincare and wellness products based in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec. She will lead the business in the United States as president of Immunotec U.S.
The announcement caps a year of change for the company, which only six months ago made the transition from publicly traded to privately owned in an acquisition initiative led by Mauricio Domenzain, now Immunotec’s CEO.

WorldVentures Names Gareth Hooper New CIO
WorldVentures Holdings LLC, parent company of the travel direct sales company WorldVentures, has appointed Gareth Hooper as chief information officer. Hooper will lead technical operations, multi-level marketing solutions and the enterprise solutions that support the Plano, Texas-based company.
“Gareth is a servant leader with a proven track record and over 15 years of direct selling and enterprise experience,” said CEO Josh Paine. “His in-depth understanding of emerging technologies and their commercial applications will take us to the next level and help us thrive there.”
Previously, Hooper was CIO at another direct selling company, where he led the transformation of mission-critical systems, infrastructure and compliance standards. His prior experience also includes a variety of technical leadership roles in the direct selling channel as well as at Blockbuster. Hooper has a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. He serves as an adviser on the Collin College Cyber Security Advisory Board.
