DSN: What is the one thing you enjoy most about being a top executive at Mannatech?

SF: What I enjoy most is working with our strong, devoted field leadership and a dedicated and talented employee group. Mannatech wouldn’t be the same company without all their hard work and enthusiasm.

DSN: What has been your greatest challenge since assuming this position?

SF: The breadth of additional responsibilities I’ve recently received is humbling. I’m looking forward to the promising opportunities in store for Mannatech and our associates in the near future.

DSN: How would you describe the ideal Mannatech sales associate?

SF: All of our associates are ideal, in that they have strong product loyalty, exceptional ties to our company culture and are committed to enriching people’s lives.

DSN: What is your vision for Mannatech?

SF: Everyone associated with Mannatech looks forward to the time when each person around the globe has access to Mannatech’s high-quality solutions that are based on nutritional science, as well as to our life-changing business opportunity for individuals who seek purpose, financial freedom and a chance to impact the lives of others.

DSN: What is the most difficult decision you’ve had to make at Mannatech?

SF: Decisions regarding resources or personnel during these challenging economic times are always the most difficult.

DSN: Is there one basic principle that has governed your leadership at Mannatech?

SF: I always strive for excellence, no matter what I’m doing, and I hope this is something people see in my leadership.

DSN: Leaders usually draw on something or someone for inspiration, guidance and direction. Do you have a hero or heroine?

SF: I would place our associate leadership strongly in this category, as I am motivated by their hard work and continued dedication.

DSN: Which other direct selling company or person do you admire the most and why?

SF: I can’t name a specific company, as I admire many of the qualities shown in our competitors.

DSN: What do you see as our industry’s greatest challenge?

SF: The direct selling industry, as a whole, is always challenged by recruitment and retention. We continue to search for strong leadership in the field, and we are confident in the continued growth of the Mannatech brand as we further increase our global presence.

DSN:  What is your favorite way to relax?

SF: I enjoy spending time with my family.
