4Life’s Research & Development department recently published its scientific research in the Journal of Immunological Methods in the form of a manuscript detailing “method development for the analysis of PBMC-mediated killing of K562 cells by bovine colostrum.”
“Two years ago, our research was referenced at an Immunology Conference,” said Lead Scientist and Researcher Anna Andersen. “To see our efforts published now in such a reputable journal is deeply satisfying.”
This study began in 2019 and utilized a technique called flow cytometry to study Natural Killer cells in the immune system and how these cells are affected by bovine colostrum.
“What an achievement,” said Chief Science Officer Dr. David Vollmer. “Anna Andersen has been with this study since the beginning, and we’re so happy for her and the whole team. This research will serve as a platform for us to continue our immune system research in the future.”
