AdvoCare International, LLC is taking continued steps in its efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and promote environmental responsibility. In a new sustainability initiative, AdvoCare added 1,068 new solar panels to its headquarters and manufacturing facility that will generate renewable energy to power the company’s operations.
Additionally, the company introduced I-Pack, a packaging system that will cut down on waste and use less packaging in the future. Already, the number of packages shipped and billed by dimensional weight has been reduced by 20%.
“Our dedication is always to the community at large, and we recognize the need to act as global citizens doing our part in creating sustainable processes where we can,” said Patrick Wright, AdvoCare Chief Executive Officer. “Our new solar panels and packaging initiatives are a step forward in reducing our carbon footprint and conserving the environment.”
