Oriflame released its 2023 Sustainability Report, revealing significant strides in its efforts to address its own carbon footprint and environmental impact. The company has been powered by 100% renewable electricity worldwide since 2018 and has also worked to partner with suppliers who have a valid EcoVadis sustainability assessment.
More than 130 of the company’s products are now vegan-certified and 95% of its rinse-off products launched in 2023 were formulated to be biodegradable. The company also worked to recycle 500 tons of plastic and glass and was recognized as a Climate Leader in Europe for the third consecutive year by Financial Times and Statista.
“Our dedication to people and nature remains fundamental for our success,” said Anna Malmhake, Oriflame CEO and President. “Despite the challenges encountered by our business, employees and Brand Partners over the past year, we’ve taken significant steps towards our sustainability targets. Our objective remains unchanged: to create business opportunities for our Brand Partners while ensuring responsible stewardship of our planet. I am proud to be part of the journey ahead.”
