The Vorwerk Group announced a 4.4% year-over-year increase in its adjusted annual revenue for 2023, posting total revenue of $3.4 billion. Operating results for the year grew to $313 million, a 50.1% increase over 2022.
Vorwerk’s Culinary division, which includes Thermomix, saw record sales this year. The company pointed to its direct sales business model as the “key driver of positive business development” amid challenging economic conditions. Advisors with the company increased to more than 100,000 people.
In 2023, the company invested $61 million in its new Thermomix production building in France and $50 million in a new office building in Wuppertal Rauental, while also strengthening its commitment to the field of robotics in Germany as it seeks to solidify its competitive edge in the robotic vacuum market there.
“We are very pleased with the positive development of the Vorwerk Group,” said Dr Thomas Stoffmehl, Vorwerk Group Speaker of the Executive Board. “The consistent focus on our core business and on the Vorwerk direct sales model has once again proven to be a success factor. We would therefore like to thank the entire Vorwerk community of advisors, employees and customers. With their passion and commitment, they made a significant contribution to our ability to cope so well with the adverse circumstances in 2023.”
