LR Health & Beauty SE announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2024, reporting revenue of $78.5 million with a normalized EBITDA of $8.4 million. In spite of unfavorable currency effects, the company achieved a 0.8% year-over-year increase in sales.
The company’s primary markets in Western and Eastern Europe helped drive revenue, as did previous product launches, like BODY MISSION.
Moving forward, the company expects to prioritize its digital processes and footprint, particularly its platform LR neo, and the development of its own chatbot, LR-Vera, which will expedite customer service.
“In 2024, we will continue to focus on the further digitalization of our company and the use of innovative technologies to further optimize our business processes,” said Dr Andreas Laabs, LR Health & Beauty SE CEO. “We also strive to provide our partners with the best possible sales support through new product innovations. Our pipeline for this year includes both new products and seasonal sales promotions such as ‘Crazy Summer’. We’re also preparing the launch of a new product segment for the autumn of 2024, which will perfectly complement our product offering.”
