Amway announced a $1.2 million donation, to be given across three years, to the YMCA of the USA. This philanthropic gift will be used to boost the organization’s anti-hunger initiatives and will further strengthen and expand the collaborative efforts of the two entities. Amway began supporting the YMCA’s efforts three decades ago and has since played a key role in advancing the YMCA’s mission in West Michigan, donating volunteer hours and providing expertise to support initiatives like youth development.
“We are grateful to Amway for its support of our anti-hunger program,” said Suzanne McCormick, President and CEO of Y-USA. “This funding will help the Y meet the essential nutritional needs of more young people in more communities.”
Amway’s commitment to philanthropic efforts has donated more than 4.5 million volunteer hours over the last 20 years and supported more than 14.5 million people.
