The Avon Company, a significant player in the cosmetics and beauty direct selling category within the US, Puerto Rico and Canada, released a statement clarifying its position after Avon Products Inc. announced it has entered into voluntary Chapter 11 proceedings. The Avon Company reaffirmed that it is an independent entity with no affiliation to Avon Products Inc. and is unaffected by the recent developments for Avon Products Inc.
