ASEA’s philanthropic initiative, the Advancing Life Foundation, celebrates five years of providing opportunities for its associates and employees to break the cycle of poverty, abuse and suffering. The Advancing Life Foundation has impacted more than 800,000 people in 16 countries and raised over $1.2 million since 2015.
This year, the Advancing Life Foundation donated to Samaritan’s Purse to support field hospitals in Italy and New York City, supported Doctors Without Borders and provided more than 500,000 meals to more than 200 food banks across the U.S.
“When we established the Advancing Life Foundation in 2015, we set out to tackle the world’s chronic ills that perpetuate suffering,” says ASEA’s founder Tyler Norton.
The Advancing Life Foundation also collaborates with organizations who support countries in need, like Operation Underground Railroad, with which it partnered to build two International Crimes Against Children centers and helped save 100 children from sex trafficking, CHOICE Humanitarian, which elevates the socioeconomic potential of youth in Ecuador, and a $60,000 pledge to distribute food in Central America and Southeast Asia.
“I’m proud of the positive impact our employees and associates have made over these past five years, and we look forward to continuing our contributions locally and internationally, including to those affected by the pandemic,” says Norton.
