The Beachbody Company (BODi) announced it has doubled the number of its fitness and nutrition programs available for digital purchase without a subscription. The company experienced significant demand for its premium fitness and nutrition content after it announced programs would be available without a subscription earlier this year. The move to double the number of titles available is expected to make it easier for consumers to experience “remarkable results” without the need for a larger commitment and complements its all-access subscription model, which gives members access to its extensive library of 134 programs.
“For many, buying a digital program is the first step toward a healthier lifestyle,” said Carl Daikeler, BODi’s Co-Founder and CEO. “Once they experience our high-quality offerings and start seeing results, upgrading to a full BODi subscription will be a natural next step for customers to further progress. With access to our entire library of programs and nutrition plans, we are uniquely positioned to create a low barrier to entry while subsequently driving higher lifetime value economics than at any time in our long history.”
This new digital purchase initiative is only one component of BODi’s multi-faceted growth strategy, which includes aggressive expansion of its nutrition business, collaboration with influencers, testing new pricing and packaging, growing its presence on Amazon and exploring how partnerships with weight loss pharmaceuticals could complement the program’s effectiveness.
