World Financial Group, the parent company of Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc., hosted its annual Convention of Champions with the theme of “Win as One.” To emphasize this goal of growing independent businesses with a common goal of ensuring no family is left behind in opportunities to secure their financial future, World Financial Group invited Shaun White, Olympic gold medalist and snowboarder, to deliver the keynote address.
“Shaun has the ‘ultimate champion’ mentality,” said Todd Buchanan, World Financial Group President. “It’s not luck that he holds more world records and more Olympic gold medals than any other snowboarder. His success did not come overnight; it was built by overcoming adversity, setting and exceeding goals and believing there are no limits. I am thrilled for him to join our stellar program lineup. Together we will win as one.”
Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from some of World Financial Group’s top-producing agents, as well as Scott Harrison, founder of charity: water, and Dr. Joe Coughlan, head of the AgeLab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
More than 33,000 people from across North America attended the four-day event.
