The monthly editor's letter offers insights and reflections of what is in each issue and what is happening within the direct selling space.
The year is winding down and soon 2016 will be upon us, but here at Direct Selling News, we already feel as if we have turned the page to a new chapter by completing our move into our new headquarters.
By some estimates, there are a few thousand companies in the United States that distribute their products or services through direct selling.
As I write this, we just received outstanding news: Nine direct selling companies are ranked among the 2015 Inc. 500|5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.
People are everything in direct selling. Their enthusiasm for sharing products and business opportunities fuels company growth, builds brands and creates lasting legacies.
Can you believe it’s July already? It’s the zenith of summer vacations, with plenty of empty desks and the sunshine and great outdoors calling alluringly to those remaining in the office. But it’s also the midway point for the year, when we have just six more months to make all of our new year’s resolutions come true.
Each year, the Direct Selling News team embarks on an expansive research project designed to identify the 100 largest direct selling companies in the world. It’s a huge undertaking and one that I’m told many said couldn’t be done when DSN first set out on the journey.
