MONAT’s philanthropic movement, MONAT Gratitude, Inc., raised more than $750,000 through the sale of its limited edition Treat for Your Feet Duo. One hundred percent of the sales of this product were donated to nonprofit organizations that support veterans and first responders in the U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland and Poland.
“The MONAT Gratitude Treat for Your Feet Duo was launched as a means to raise awareness and funds for veterans and first responders, and we are so proud of the partnerships we have developed with each of the organizations,” said Lu Urdaneta, MONAT Global Chief Culture Officer and MONAT Gratitude CEO. “I’m continuously amazed by the dedication of our Market Partners to give back and positively impact the community.”
Funds raised will benefit the following organizations:
- The 22 Project
- Operation Gratitude
- Wounded Warriors (Canada)
- Frontline Fund (Canada)
- Veterans Foundation (UK)
- Irish Veterans (Ireland)
- Association of the Injured and Wounded in Missions Abroad (Poland)
“We are thankful for partners like MONAT Gratitude who make it possible for us to cover the costs of helping veterans who are suffering from post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury,” said Alex Cruz, co-founder, The 22 Project. “Because of these partnerships, we are able to provide support to veterans so they can live a better life.”
MONAT Gratitude also partnered with Operation Gratitude and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation to donate 6,000 care packages to area police officers and firefighters. Additional care packages, assembled by more than 300 MONAT Market Partners, were also sent to first responders working in Miami in the wake of the Surfside building collapse.
