Through its philanthropic mission Nourish the Children (NTC), Nu Skin announced it has purchased and donated more than 700 million meals to malnourished children in more than 60 countries around the world since 2002.
The NTC initiative allows Nu Skin leaders, customers and employees to purchase and donate VitaMeal, a nutrient-dense food, through NTC’s third-party charity partners.
“Thank you to the generosity of our sales leaders, customers and employees who support the Nourish the Children initiative and make it possible for us to feed more than 120,000 children every day,” says Steven J. Lund, Nu Skin chairman of the board. “I continue to be amazed at how the Nu Skin family comes together to be a force for good throughout the world, helping those in need. We realize that much more still needs to be done to combat malnutrition, and it’s our desire to grow this program to benefit even more children.”
Nu Skin recently enhanced the NTC program to inspire more engagement. In some markets, a ten-meal bag is available, as well as the addition of a $1 donation to the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation for each ten-meal bag purchased. A $2 donation is now added for each 30-meal bag purchased. Nu Skin’s goal is that these adjustments will impact even more malnourished children.
