In preparation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ruby Ribbon launched its new adaptive mastectomy Sports Demiette bra, an iteration of its Zip-Front Sport Demiette from the Pink Camo Collection. This new adaptive option was developed with comfort features for women living through or recovering from cancer treatments, and can be worn by all women.
The Sport Demiette bra has a zip front closure to make dressing easier for women with temporary or permanently limited mobility. The bra also employs soft elastic to accommodate post-surgery drainage tubes, cooling mesh, underwire-free molded cups and large pockets for mastectomy petals. The bra is available in sizes 32-50 and is made with antimicrobial, sweat-wicking fabric.
“Ruby Ribbon is committed to supporting women and women’s breast health year-round,” said Michelle Sanft, Ruby Ribbon’s Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer. “Our mission is to empower women to feel their best and our wire-free demiettes embrace all bodies during all stages of life. We are thrilled to continue our relationship with the National Breast Cancer Foundation and their mission to educate and support.”
The company has also released a matching Sport Crop Legging within the Pink Camo Collection. To show support, Ruby Ribbon is donating 10% of sales from this collection and from the Shop Pink (and Ruby) Store digital pop up. A maximum donation of $10,000 will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, as well as $7,000 worth of Ruby Ribbon products.
