USANA Health Sciences, along with its philanthropic organization USANA Foundation, has partnered with English soccer club AFC Bournemouth to support local children and families dealing with food insecurity. Through a matching grant, the USANA Foundation will collaborate with the Cherries Community Club.
The USANA Foundation, USANA’s philanthropic organization, built 100 Garden Towers on the remote island of Malapascua, Cebu. Thirty USANA distributors worked on the project which will provide sustainable access to nutrition for local residents as well as provide a way to generate income through the sale of surplus vegetables.
USANA, through its philanthropic organization USANA Kids Eat, hosted a service event to prepare holiday bags filled with meals to be distributed to sponsored schools across Utah. USANA employees, executive and community volunteers packed 4,328 bags, each filled with 40 meals, for a total of 173,120 meals.
USANA CEO and chairman Kevin Guest announced the company’s next big humanitarian goal: raising enough money to fund 30,000 garden towers around the world by USANA’s 30th anniversary convention next year.
USANA, the USANA Foundation and several of the company’s international markets have provided significant donations during the COVID-19 outbreak.
